Common Problems In CNC machining
What are the advantages of 5-axis machining center?
- 5-axis machining is suitable for machining complex special-shaped parts. 5-axis machining center can realize the processing of complex parts that are difficult or basically impossible to be processed by ordinary machining center, so it is widely used in aerospace, shipbuilding, mold and other processing industries. High machining accuracy. 5-axis machining center is through 5-axis positioning machining, and the dimensional analysis of materials can be completely tested. Therefore, the accuracy of 5-axis vertical machining center is higher than that of ordinary machining center. The processing is stable and reliable. It can master the computer, eliminate human errors, have good processing consistency and stable and reliable quality.
What are the general types of CNC machining centers?
- Machining centers are usually classified according to the relative position of spindle and worktable, which are divided into horizontal, vertical and 5-axis (Universal) machining centers. (1)Horizontal machining center: refers to the machining center with the spindle axis parallel to the workbench, which is mainly suitable for machining box parts. (2)Vertical machining center: refers to the machining center set vertically between the spindle axis and the worktable. It is mainly suitable for processing complex parts such as plates, discs, molds and small shells. (3)Universal machining center (also known as multi axis linkage machining center): refers to the machining center that can control the linkage change through the angle between the machining spindle axis and the workbench rotation axis to complete the machining of complex spatial curved surface. It is applicable to the machining of impeller rotor, mould, cutting tool and other workpieces with complex spatial surface.
Which industries use CNC machinery?
- Industries that use numerical control processing include aerospace, auto parts manufacturing, medical machinery manufacturing, transportation, national defense and marine industry, as well as oil and gas industry and electronic products. NC machining makes these industries more efficient in mass production of customized NC parts.
What is the standard machining tolerance?
- The standard machining tolerance is 0.13MM or ± 0.005 inch, and the tolerance is the allowable range of dimensions. If the tolerance of CNC machining tool is ± 0.01mm, it means that the deviation of the machining tool in each cutting is 0.01mm. If there are 2D drawings, virtual NC machining service can produce CNC parts with tolerance as low as ± 0.005mm. Without drawings, all CNC parts must comply with ISO 2768 medium standard tolerances. We can also process to a more strict tolerance, with a maximum accuracy of 0.002mm.
